They should probably be consistent.

I'd be cool to have them so that if somebody is experiencing weird crashes we can try to get a more detailed report from the ASAN build.

AFAICT, the decision to run these builds and tests on Trunk and Try goes back to when they were set up in the first place (as Tier 2) and hasn't been revisited since after they stabilized. This is an oversight from what I can see and I don't see any reason they shouldn't be running across all supported branches at this point.
