157467 - hangs on statup with ver 1.0 rc1,rc3

I have two machines both running windows 98 showing the same behavior. When
starting mozilla I will see no windows. If I go to the task manager
(ctrl-alt-del) and kill mozilla I can usually start mozilla successfully.
Occasionally the splash screen comes up and then it hangs, but usually there is
no visual indication mozilla is running. This started happening in rc1, and
continues thru 1.1 alpha. If I revert back to 0.9.9 everthing works fine on
either machine. One machine is a 1 ghz Dell with 256MB of RAM. The other machine
is a HP AMD (~500mhz) with 128MB of RAM. Feel free to contact me if you need any
other information.

This happens both with quick start enable or disabled, though it seems to be
more consistent when quick start is enabled.

Have you installed Mozilla over an older build ?

If yes do this :
uninstall mozilla, delete all files in c:\programs\Mozilla.org\Mozilla\ (but
save your plugins) and reinstall mozilla.

If you still see the problem try "mozilla -profilemanager" and create an
additional test profile.
