Steps to reproduce:

When I snooze an event, say for a day, this event does not show up in the Today Pane as an event for Tomorrow.
I always scan the Today Pane to find upcoming events, but snoozed events do not show.
I think they should...

I think they should not. Snoozing the reminder for a calendar event doesn't change anything about the start and end time of the event. If you missed the event and the event is in the past I do not want to see it in the list of upcoming events in today pane.

Maybe you want to use calendar task instead? You can give them a due date and configure today pane to shown all open tasks including overdue tasks.

I beg to differ. First of all I was not talking about a MISSED event. I talked about a SNOOZED event.
To me, a snoozed event is like rescheduling an event, which should definitely show up in the Today Pane.

I would like to hear other users comments on this...

I think too that snoozing an event does not change the event itself. If you just snooze the reminder, you do not change the start of an event or task. If you want to do so you have to change the start of the event.

As mentioned in comment#1 and comment#3, snoozing does not mean to postpone the start time of an event but to schedule the reminder/alarm for later. Therefore this bug report is resolved as INVALID.
