STR:

1. Go to accounts.firefox.com in Fenix/RB and go to sign in (or in Fenix also can go to Settings -> Log in)
2. Long press on password field to paste

Expected:
Can paste text into fields

Actual:
No context menu appears

Can't reproduce on Chrome.

This seems to be an occasional issue something to do with focus. I can get the paste menu some of the time on first load. If you focus the text box then I get the paste menu all the time.

Makoto, when you get time, can you please investigate why pasting text doesn't work with the "Email" or "Password" fields on accounts.firefox.com in Fenix or Fennec. Pasting works correctly in the page's "How old are you?" field. Pasting works correctly in all these fields in Chrome.

Making sure Mozilla's accounts.firefox.com website works correctly in our own browser is important. :)

Thanks. I'm adding the [geckoview:fenix:m9] whiteboard tag so we remember this bug in Q4. Making sure Mozilla's accounts.firefox.com web page works correctly in Mozilla's Fenix and Fennec is a high priority. :)

In the meantime, is there anything the accounts.firefox.com web developers can change in the page design to make text pasting work in Fenix and Fennec without requiring a GV code change?
