Hi Stephanie and team,

The next episode of IRL will come out a week from today on August 26. Titled "Making Privacy Law" (thanks Stephanie for the title!), the episode is all about internet regulation and what it does, and could mean, for our privacy online.

All copy and assets for the website are here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EBZzdXWVDzIfr-CKR-fD_lLVPtnYlQs-tLtQabnbLDY/edit?ts=59273040#gid=1706632718.

Ideally, the site would get pushed live on Monday as close to 9am EST as possible. I'm actually out of the office on Friday and Monday, so would love to see the site on staging by Thursday if that's possible. LMK.

We'd also like to run a survey on the website starting on August 26 when the episode goes live, and keep it up through September 23 on this episode page and also the main page. The copy on the banner should say, "What do you think about IRL? Take our short survey." (I removed "What do you want to hear more of?" from the copy because we're still unsure if we'll be pursuing a Season 6.)

On Slack / email / Zoom for any questions or concerns!
Michaela

Hi Stephanie,

This is not a necessity, but I'd love to add this line at the top of the shownotes for the Episode 6 IRL page if it's a very light lift: "The IRL production team would love your feedback. [Take this short 2-minute survey] (https://qsurvey.mozilla.com/s3/irlseason5)."

We've gotten some feedback via email that people are having a hard time finding the survey in the banner (maybe because the coloring so closely matches that of the header?). An added line in the shownotes may be helpful, but it's not totally necessary if this doesn't fit within other priorities this week.

Thanks,
Michaela

Episode published on time and the survey updates are published now too.
