[Prerequisites]:

• Have a new Firefox profile with the "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.asrouter.providers.snippets" pref's value set to "{"id":"snippets","enabled":true,"type":"remote","url":"https://gist.githubusercontent.com/piatra/3029b3336c2df8f64ebb72ca3e027bae/raw/f8ecd02751d53a0b540669ac0462e2a066792e48/endpoint.json","updateCycleInMs":14400000}" in the "about:config" page;

[Steps to reproduce]:

1. Open the browser with the profile from prerequisites.
2. Change the system's time to 2 days in the future.
3. Restart the browser and open multiple new tabs.
4. Observe if any snippets are displayed.

[Expected result]:

• The snippets are successfully displayed under the search bar or at the bottom of the window.

[Actual result]:

• There are no snippets displayed at all.

[Notes]:

• "Snippets" are successfully displayed after the "First Run Triplets" are dismissed.
• Attached a screen recording of the issue.

This is the expected behavior. The First Run Triplets are the prioritized notification until they are dismissed or enough time/impressions have passed that they are not targeted for display anymore. After that point, snippets will be displayed as usual.
