Request Description
As an input into understanding a range of barriers to Fenix awareness and adoption, we would like to understand why users who regularly use Firefox as a browser for their desktop experience don't use Firefox on their mobile device(s). Understand the nature of the disconnect, including mental model around mobile browsing vs, desktop, level of awareness of/interest in sync opportunities, barriers to chnage.
Deadline
A supplement to Fennec-to-Fenix transition research (Bug 1569041), so end of Q3 is the target.
Priority Level
(1 = High 2 = Medium, 3 = Low): 1
Priority Level Description
Understanding a variety of potential barriers to Fenix adoption is a critical component of the success of Fenix; this is also an initial step toward a later effort to explore options for converting mobile Chrome users, so we should start with our own Desktop hold-outs first.

This is great, thorough insight into mobile browser choice, so we can start from this baseline - I'd like to focus in on FF desktop user mental models, awareness, perceptions around FF value drivers across device context.
Roseanne's recent work for Browser Choice is also key for framing and focusing this study:
