From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020607 BuildID: 0000000000 Opening certain applets that use LiveGraphics3D to generate mathematica plots in 3D causes Mozilla to exit. Note that this is not true for all applets using this LiveGraphics3D, only a few. This happens on Redhat Linux 7.2 in at least 2 instances. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to above URL 2.Click on the button labeled "Three Dimensions" Actual Results: Mozilla exits without warning, closing all windows. Expected Results: Displayed the applet properly.
only get an error about missing "IMPUT" or "INPUT_FILE" parameter, no crash (2002071404, Linux, Java 1.4)
I have since upgraded to build 2002071521, the newest nightly and can confirm that this is still a problem on my redhat 7.2 system.
what jre version tho ?
Reporter can you reproduce this bug with a newer build (1.4 final)? If not, then please close this bug as worksforme. Thanks.
This was a problem with Java3D with older versions of the JDK which causes a problem on linux if you don't turn off shared contexts, not a problem with Mozilla. Setting this to worksforme.
