[Notes]:

  • On the Lockwise webextension an "Unable to sync logins." warning is displayed on the top of the page if the FxA account is unverified or fails to sync. Here is the Github issue where this functionality was implemented: #61.

[Affected Versions]:

  • Nightly 70.0a1

[Affected Platforms]

  • All Windows
  • All Mac
  • All Linux

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Open the latest Nightly browser and navigate to "about:logins" page.
  2. Click the "Sign in to Sync" button.
  3. Create a new FxA account.
  4. Click the "Save selection" button but don't confirm your account.
  5. Navigate to "about:logins" and observe the page.

[Expected results]:

  • A warning message is displayed that informs the user that the logins are not synced.

[Actual results]:

  • No warning is displayed and the page shows that you are signed.
