User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:70.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Had Firefox stable as default browser via Ubuntu packages after installation. Still have that Firefox.
  2. copied my session, cookies some more files from my Windows to the default profile of Ubuntu when i was switching to Ubuntu.
  3. Installed Nightly, downloaded .tar.bz2 from mozilla site, extracted and placed under /opt/firefox-nightly
Not sure for the correct order of the following three:
  4. Created GNOME .desktop file
  5. Started Nightly

I start nightly via GNOME favorites icon for Nightly, which is in the dock.

Actual results:

On each start of browser Nightly asks for profile. There is only one profile, named default - from the Firefox stable package. I didn't create new profile, just copied places, cookies and session from my old Windows profile. Nightly uses that profile, and i don't start regular Firefox profile anymore, but haven't removed it yet.

Expected results:

Nightly should not ask for profile. More files attached.
