The import function does not import all important data from Outlook address books. Specifically, it does not import the "Notes" and the "File As" fields. It appears to use the Outlook "Full Name" field for the "Display" field when it should be using the "File As" field. Amoung others, this creates problems when the Outlook entry has an honorific, such as Mr., Mrs., Ms, Dr., etc., associated with it. The AB creates the "Display" field as "Mr. First Last" rather than "Last, First." It may also be helpful if other Outlook fields that do not map to AB fields be imported into the AB "Notes" field. These changes may not be able to be done using the standard Outlook Export functions and may require developing an application that uses Outlook oblects.
