User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:70.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0

Steps to reproduce:

• Displayed incoming email, no inlining happening.
• Toggled Menu > View > "Display Attachments Inline" and tested in either case.
• Tested running Thunderbird in safe mode

Actual results:

Attachments of MIME type text/plain and text/xml are not being inlined though inlining is active.

Expected results:

Multipart header of the attachment that should have appeared inline.

Yes, text attachments are not inlined any more, that's intentional. Toggle pref mail.inline_attachments.text. See bug 1509709. I should add this to the release notes.
