Actual results:
continuous intensive disk writes, never shows gif
Expected results:
show stupid gifs with minimal or no disk writes

the only win 7 64 browsers i found that renders these two gifs
maxthon v5.2.7.5000

Avant - no no no no (ff engine writes continuously)
Chromium - "the media could not be played" so that's a no but at least it is a selfawarewolf

Westsonoma, you are having this issue because of some Windows Media Foundation limitation on Windows 7. Please see Bug 1479203.

Thanks for the info but i wonder why epic and maxthon both show the vids correctly on the same machine if it is an OS level problem?
custom 264 decoders maybe?
I guess it doesn''t matter since it's EOL'd
