User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/76.0.3809.132 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
Thunderbird and Chrome (with about 10 tabs opened) left running when I locked my session
Actual results:
Compter was frozen. Windows System log had several events of this nature:
Windows a diagnostiqué avec succès une insuffisance en mémoire virtuelle. La plus grande consommation de mémoire virtuelle s’est répartie entre les programmes suivants : RapportMgmtService.exe (2308) avec 3252699136 octets, chrome.exe (11128) avec 348819456 octets et thunderbird.exe (4528) avec 189878272 octets.
Expected results:
Computer should not have locked up. I don't know if Thunderbird is the root cause of this, but I thought I should report it.

In the meantime, I uninstalled the RapportService extension from Chrome

And uninstalling RapportMgmtService.exe fixed the problem?

I don't know if this fixed the problem, the computer has not locked up since, but I checked when Thunderbird and Google Chrome were last updated. The latest release of Chrome was installed on August 29th, which seems to coincide with the start of the memory problem, whereas Thunderbird was installed on July 15th. Chrome seems to be the likely candidate of the root cause. I reported it to you in case you it has a (far chance) of having anything to do with it...
Windows System log has not recorded any memory error since I reported this, but it is still early in the day......

Glad to hear that it hasn't caused any further issue. We'll close this ticket as it isn't clear if Thunderbird was the cause for the initial lockup, and the lack of continuing issue. If similar bugs are reported we can reference this one as an example of the event.
