Steps to reproduce:

Tried to download a file from Sourceforge

Actual results:

The 5 second countdown timer did not count down so download did not start.

Expected results:

Countdown should have started

Hi @guy, checked the issue in Windows 10 platform, using following FF versions: latest nightly 71.0a1, beta 70.0b4, release 69.0. On none of this versions the issue cannot be reproduced.
Further, I will set a component, if isn't the right one please fell free to change it.
If You have any other info that could help us reproducing or figure it out what may cause the issue please provide it.

This is not directly related to downloads, it sounds more like a website bug, maybe WebCompat, I can't tell. Try a forced reload of the page, or disable adblockers, and so on... not a downloads bug anyway.
