Steps to reproduce:
Set the property keyword.enabled=false for data protection reasons.
But sometimes I want to google the text I entered in the URL bar as I only recently changed the behaviour and I'm used to enter my search term into the URL bar, then press enter, and let Firefox google for it because the search term is not a valid URL.
Actual results:
The error page with the message "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site." appeared.
Expected results:
When I'm sure I want the data entered in the URL bar to go to Google as search term, instead of the Enter key, I'd like to press a certain key combination, e.g. Alt+Enter or something with the Enter key. Then, Firefox should behave as if keyword.enabled was set to true.

You can simply prefix your query with a search engine keyword, e.g. g gingerbread recipes. You can assign search engine keywords in the Search category of the preferences page, about:preferences#search

What's your primary purpose to set keyword.enabled=false then? If it's for privacy reasons you could just disable search suggestions. Sure, we'd still send a string you type and confirm to the search engine, but that's a limited risk compared to the benefit.

Unfortunately the shortcuts are pretty much already overloaded of meanings, we couldn't find a good shortcut for this.
you can do what comment 1 suggested, or you can ALT+DOWN, then Enter to pick the first search one-off button, or you could use an @keyword, like "@google something".
We'll shortly be working on a way to flip the urlbar to a search bar on demand, so that woul probably solve your troubles too.
Anyway, there's currently no plan to introduce a keyboard shortcut.
