Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:69.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/69.0
Steps to reproduce:
Open page in reader mode in Firefox Quantum 69.0 (64-bit) for Ubuntu. Adjust the font size setting to its maximum
Actual results:
The available maximum is now much smaller than in previous versions
Expected results:
I expected the maximum font size to be much bigger, as it was previously. I am visually impaired and always use this feature. But it no longer increases to the large font size it previously did and I cannot read with this new maximum size

Can you use mozregression to help us find when this behavior changed? See https://mozilla.github.io/mozregression/ for details on how to use the tool.

Do you really mean font size, or are you using ctrl-+ to increase zoom levels and is this a dupe of bug 1578454 ?

Please note that there was a confusion that was made because of the previous possibility to use the page zoom as well in reader mode.
The behavior changed with Fx 69.0, the users were left with only the font increase, which was quite limited by comparison.
@Gijs I would say this is a dupe, as I've already checked and seen that you increased the font zoom on Fx 71.0a1. Would you agree that a regression range is no longer required?

I think we should wait a bit for the reporter to clarify exactly what they're seeing - it could still be a different issue. If it's a dupe, we can dupe it over. If not, we can investigate once there's more detailed info. I'll clear the keywords for now to get this out of your triage queries.

Hi ciarantreacy1,
We're looking for additional information about what you mean by font-size.
Specifically - how were you zooming font-size? Were you using the Ctrl +/- keyboard shortcuts to increase the zoom of the reader page, or were you using the + and - buttons inside of the "Aa" menu on sidebar of reader mode?

Hello
Sorry for the slow reply. You are right, I was using the "Aa" button and "Ctrl +" in tandem. Sorry for the confusion. It is Ctrl + that is no longer scaling the font in reader mode as big as before so I can no longer read with it

OK, great, we've fixed this in the beta branch of Firefox, the beta coming out tomorrow will have the fix.
