Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:70.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0

Steps to reproduce:

Webpage has img with srcset:

<img src="https://www.w3schools.com/html/img_chania.jpg" srcset="https://www.w3schools.com/html/img_chania.jpg, https://www.w3schools.com/html/pic_trulli.jpg 2x" />

Demo on codepen: https://codepen.io/zdila/pen/zYOWwNZ

Actual results:

If such page is printed the image is missing. If srcset is removed, the image is printed.

Expected results:

Image should be printed. In this case it should be https://www.w3schools.com/html/pic_trulli.jpg as printer resolution is (expected to be) more than 3x.

s/more than 3x/more than 1x/

Hi m.zidla,

Thanls for submitting this bug to us. I've tried to reproduce it using Firefox Beta 70.0b6 (32-bit) and Firefox Nightly 71.0a1 (32-bit - 2019/09/16) and I wasn't able to do it.

I've used the demo that you've left us and also an example of a srcset image (www.webkit.org/demos/srcset) and I was able to print the images with no problem.

Does this issue occur with a fresh profile? You can find the steps here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager

Can you please download Firefox Nightly from here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/ and retest the problem and see if the issue still occurs there as well?

Please let us now if this works.

Thanks!

Sebastian

I can't reproduce it with the same browser and profile. If I am able to reproduce it reliably then I'll provide more details. Thanks for your effort.
