Details

With release 1.1a: I have multiple mail/news accounts. Each one apparently supplies a different identity. Thus, when I click "compose" and want to select an identity in the "from:" drop-menu, I get multiple identities to select from. The problem is that while I only really have two *distinct* identities, the menu lets me select from all identities in all accounts. This just makes the menu crowded. Since there isn't any functional difference between two identical identities in different accounts, Mozilla should omit duplicated identities, and just let me select from choices that are actually distinct. In other words, I think it would make more sense to display an identity only if the (name, email address) tuple of that identity is distinct from all other displayed identities.
