From a Slack message earlier today,

"Please don’t use the party parrot emoji. It can be migraine inducing. Thank you."

While I think the animated emoji are cute, let's just delete them since they can trigger migraines for some folks. There are other expressive ways to respond to our chat room messages so let's be as inclusive as possible!

Hi Liz - Can you turn off animated images and emojis in your preferences? That would allow us to have a happy medium where those who want to use those can and the ones who don't, won't have to suffer through them.

In Slack, go to Preferences > Accessibility > Animations
Uncheck Allow animated images and emojis
