On https://pasjans-online.pl/, the animations of dragging cards back and forth stop for a fraction of a second several times during the gameplay.

The lag is bad enough to disrupt the gameplay, you don't know if you got a card or where you drop it.

It's working fine with gfx.core-animation.enabled flipped to off.

This is on Nightly, macOS 10.14.6 (18G84)

I tried a little dragging around with core animation on and off and I didn't see a difference.

Can you attach a screen recording? I cannot reproduce this problem.

Flags: needinfo?(l10n)

Leaving my needinfo, just wanted to drop a note that I'm "working" on it.

It takes a while of gaming to reproduce.

How many windows do you have open? Can you paste the information from "About This Mac" here? I'm especially interested in the amount of RAM and GPU RAM you have.

I can sometimes reproduce it, but I haven't taken the time to just record a screencast of 15 minutes and then edit it down.

From "about this mac", it's a 2018 model:

32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Radeon Pro 560X 4 GB
Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

I usually run with both the internal display and an external display, though I don't think that's crucial. I always have two windows open on my Nightly profile, though.

Priority: -- → P3

"Something" fixed this in the meantime, I haven't seen this in a while. Closing.
