Steps to reproduce:

Since update to v 68.00

I run an imap server (Linux (Scientific Linux 7.4) , exim 4.92.2-5, dovecot 2.2.10-8, etc) with multiple accounts. all accessible from one single profile(user). No problems prior to 68.0. Occurs on both machines which have been updated to 68.0 and now 68.1. On another sytem still running 60.xx no problems.

Actual results:

Cannot open attachments on the second, and subsequent accounts, reports size unknown ... the drop down menu is greyed out

Screen dump in attached file shows the attachment "size unknown" and if you click on the attachment the four options (Open all, Save all, Detach all, Delete all) are greyed out

Created a new profile and when I added the second account this "feature" was repeated

If I move the email with the attachment to the "first" account , the attachment now opens.

Works Ok on the first account

Expected results:

attachments should open on all accounts as they did in previous versions of thunderbird ...

Looks like a duplicate of bug 1579341 (or bug 1576584).

Thanks for pointing to bug 1576584

The fix of "setting mail.server.default.mime_parts_on_demand=false" cured the problem

However I only experienced the problem with the second and subsequent accounts within a profile. The first account did not have this problem.
