1583704 - German Dictionary installed but will not show up

Steps to reproduce:

updated to Thunderbird 68.1 on Mac in OS 10.14.6
2 problems:

Actual results:

1. German dictionary disappeared
   downloaded new one, installed it but it will not show up when writing a message and spell checking.
2. I write my messages in 'blue' and it turned to standard black font, although in preferences it is listed correctly

Expected results:

like before I have a selection of, in my case, an English and a German dictionary which I can choose from.

Which dictionary did you install?

I don't see a German Deutsch one here.

I do see dictionaries for:

German (Austria), German (Germany) and German (Switzerland).

So I installed the first one listed under German (Germany), opened a composition window, the dictionary was a choice for me and worked.

However, it did not appear in my Preferences > Composition > Spelling drop down list until after I restarted Thunderbird.

Being German, I use the German dictionary all the time on Windows. This is the "semi-official" one:

Today the install of dictionary finally worked. Had also update my iMac to 10.15.
