RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1583549

People

(Reporter: nucleus.mails, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:67.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/67.0

Steps to reproduce:

I changed the primary email in my firefox account, then I tried to configure sync on my mobile firefox. The mobile firefox was not able to sync anything (bookmarks/paswords) despite reporting that it is connected and synced 0/5/10/... minutes ago, manually triggered sync doen't change anything as well. Then I decided to remove my account but first change the account email back to old one so that I can register new account with my new email, though the https://accounts.firefox.com/settings website shows a blank page with an Unexpected error at errors.js:122:42 and logger.js:69:29.

Firefox in Debian Linux X86_64: 67.0.4 (64-bit)
Firefox in Adroid: 68.1.1

Actual results:

Firefox sync doesn't work in mobile android. Accounts website doesn't work as well.

I tried to create a new profile for firefox and when I try to login with my new email I still see an old one in the firefox menu, so something is wrong with changing account. The same issue with accessing accounts.firefox.com is spreading to all my other devices, same issue in Mac Os.

Same—the doc linked in bug 1583549 reports that FxA is down, but the team is working on it. I'll go ahead and dupe this bug over; bug 1583549 will be updated once service is restored. Thanks for bearing with us, and apologies for the trouble. 😕
