LDAP Address Book only works for a single search

Steps to reproduce:
Added an LDAP Address Book
Open Address Book and select newly added LDAP Address Book
Search for LDAP user (Works)
Delete search criteria and search for another LDAP user (Doesn't Work)
Actual results:
The address book returns search results for the FIRST search but subsequent searches return no results (even if the same search criteria is used).
This is persistent until Thunderbird is restarted.
Expected results:
Address Book should return search results from the LDAP address book on every search.
It seems like version 68.x.x is having this issue but version 60.9.0 is working correctly with LDAP Address Books

I cannot reproduce this with 68.1.1 and corp ldap (release immenent).
Anything in your tools > error console?

Yes, this is the observed behaviour if you use SSL. It works once and never again.
Please un-dupe should I be wrong.

I have just tested this by unchecking SSL and it seems to work correctly with that disabled.
Apologies, I didn't realise this was a duplicate.
Thank you both for the information. Hopefully the imminent release will resolve this for us.
