Details

I have vanilla BeOS 5 on x86 installed (no fixes or patches added).
Now and again there seems to be a problem in typing new addresses in the
Address/URL bar at the top of the screen.
It can take several clicks and random-selection of the existing URL before you
can change or delete any text in the box.

Mozilla versions:
Title Bar = Mozilla 1.0 {Build ID: 2002060423}
About:mozilla = Mozilla/5.0 {BeOS; U; BeOS BePC; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530
1.0 was released before patch
for bug 126843.
Reporter, can you test later build, 1.1alpha or nightly build ?
As a reminder if this won't prove to be worksforme: please do not duplicate
against bug 82534. Mark it as new, instead.
I'll give it a go.
i didn't realise 1.1a was available for BeOS.
wish me luck - i havent compiled anything on BeOS before!
To Dimitrios Papadopoulos
I didn't know till now about 82534. Because BeOS focus handling don't include
yet all that tricks which other platforms already implemented for its nsWidget
implementation, we have some local "BeOS-only" bugs for assign "duplicate" :)

But, for example, maybe bug 150027 has its counterparts for other platforms.
I met dead "arrow navigation" not only in URL bar, but also in forms. And it
appears occasionally - cannot tell good way to reproduce that.
yes, a nightly build of 1.1 seems to have fixed it.
thank you!
