1584709 - No longer able to log into SUMO through fxa flow

I am no longer able to sign into support.mozilla.org using the FXA login flow in my nightly profile after the changes in bug 1557074 landed. i get redirected to the fxa login site where i seemingly am able to be authenticated correctly and get redirected to sumo but ending up in a logged-out state.

i couldn't reproduce this in a new profile, but in firefox safemode with my existing profile. i'm running mozilla sites in a particular container in case this matters here...

the issue seems to be due to the contents of my sessionstore.jsonlz4 file - when i import just this one file into a new profile the problem reproduces. i could share it through a private channel in case it helps debugging the problem...

I wasn't able to reproduce it either. I'm going to mark it as P3 unless we get other reports about this....

I can't reproduce this issue either on FF71 - Win 10

I tried with an old and new account but I'm logged in.
