158587 - Window menu choices other than Navigator are missing

When I first installed version 1.0, I am certain that the "Window" menu choices
at the top of the screen included selections for Mail/news, the address book,
and maybe even some chat thing.  I have no Window menu choices other than
"Navigator" and the list of other open navigator windows below that selection
option.  I know of nothing I have done to make them disappear.

Never heard something like this (only a old bug on Solaris)

Can youi try it with a new profile ?
If that doesn't work, can you rename the file
mozilla/component.reg ?

I have created a new profile - same result

I renamed the component.reg. A new component.reg was created when Navigator
started, but the same menu choice problem existed.

I have also noticed that i no longer have the Help option under the Help menu. 
Just Release Notes, About Plugins, and About Mozilla

Is it time to reinstall?

how about an upgrade? there were bugs about losing menuitems, esp one for os/2
iirc, but please try a trunk nightly.

I will try an upgrade, but I probably will not be able to do it until next weekend.

Thanks for the help.  It's just nice to know that I am not crazy.  There were
other menu items.

Are you sure you installed 1.0 and not RC3?

There was a packaging issue.

Delete chrome.rdf in the bin/chrome subdirectory.

I deleted chrome.rdf and all is well now with the menus.  Thanks for the help -

Per reporter, deleting chrome.rdf fixes it.

There is a separate bug for this problem recurring.
