• All Linux

[Prerequisites]:

• Have a Firefox profile with at least 10 bookmarks.

[Steps to reproduce]:

1. Open the browser with the profile from prerequisites.
2. Navigate to any website and click the "Bookmark this page" button from the right part of the "Address Bar".
3. Observe the behavior.

[Expected result]:

• The "Sync to CTA when Bookmarking" message is displayed inside the "Bookmark" panel.

[Actual result]:

• The "Bookmark" panel is opened but the "Sync to CTA when Bookmarking" message is not displayed.

[Additional Notes]:

• This issue is still reproducible after a browser restart.
• Attached a screen recording of the issue.

It looks as if the CFR message is not present although published 3 days ago in RS.
I used the Remote Settings devtools to force sync, poll the server but I still don't get the FXA_BOOKMARK_PANEL_71_plus message.
Any ideas?

This is the issue that we talked about a few days ago, and that I reported at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1585054
The content of your preview/main collections is inconsistent with the one in workspace.

As I told you on Slack earlier this week, in order to get your 3 records published, a workaround would consist of editing and saving them (no need to change any attribute), request a new review, so that it gets included in your published changes.

Tested with Nightly 71.0a1 (2019-10-15) and successfully able to see "Sync to CTA when Bookmarking" message inside the "Bookmark" panel. NI QA to verify issue is fixed. Thanks

I have verified that this issue is no longer reproducible with the latest Firefox Nightly (71.0a1 Build ID - 20191015213743) installed, on Windows 10 x64, Arch Linux and Mac 10.14.5. Now, the "Sync to CTA when Bookmarking" message is successfully displayed.
