I just updated to Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:71.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/71.0a1 BuildID: 20191005094257

I have the Today Pane enabled and showing in the Mail and Calendar tabs.
Open the Add-ons Manager or Preferences

The Today pane disappears and there is a lot of empty white space in the tabs.
The button to "Show Today Pane" is also missing.

The Today pane should be available at all times or the button to "Show Today Pane" should be available.
