User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:70.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0
Steps to reproduce:
Trying to use “Move Tab in focus to start” and “Move Tab in focus to end” described in official Mozilla support.
Actual results:
Nothing happened. I guess they should have worked at some point since they are written in documentation so it’s probably a regression.
Expected results:
The shortcuts should do what the support website say they do, i.e. move the current tab to start or end.

Did you really focus the tab? The following works for me:
Ctrl+L
to focus the address bar.Shift+Tab
multiple times until the current tab is focused (the tab title gains a dotted rectangle border).Ctrl+Shift+Home|End|Page Up|Page Down
to move said tab to the start of the tab strip, the end, to the left, then to the right.
OK sorry, I didn’t even read the explanation text above the shortcut because it seemed obvious (and to someone on Tab Center Redux too) that focused means “active, current”. So maybe the documentation should improved so that people don’t get the wrong idea about that shortcut.
Why is this shortcut restricted to focused tab when it could work like “Move Tab Left/Right” (since focusing it means to make it active anyway)? At least, it would be less confusing. But maybe it has a good reason?

Why is this shortcut restricted to focused tab
I don't know. I'm changing this report into an enhancement request to remove the focus requirement from Move Tab to Start/End, since the same was done for Move Tab Left/Right in bug 364845.
So maybe the documentation should improved
I made an attempt. An editor needs to approve the changes before they show up in the article. If you have other suggestions for improvement, they're best posted on its discussion board. You can also always edit support articles yourself.

Ctrl+Shift+Home/End are used for text selection so I don't think we can use it for moving tabs irrespective of focus.
Still, I think it’s very easy to overlook the explanation about «tab in focus», and it could probably be improved so users don’t get mistaken.
