Steps to reproduce:
As soon as I opened nightly, i began typing
Actual results:
The search/nav bar was extremely large
Expected results:
It should've been its default size

Hi @matranc03, I've tested the issue on the latest nightly 71.0a1 (10/10/2019) but cannot reproduce it. Could you please send an about:support report ? I saw that you have installed a couple of extensions, it is possible that someone of this create a conflict.
Further, I will set a component, if isn't the proper one please fell free to change it.
