Details

STR (Tested on Linux nightly https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/dbe05c7204a38b7df389c42ca1d022ff94a51b53):

  • focus the awesome bar with Ctrl+L
  • hit Esc
  • type something to search

Expected results:

  • Not sure what the UX should be now. When hitting Esc, we go back to a normal input field instead of the enlarged box, but the field is still focused.

Observed results:

  • Search results are displayed with no background on top of the content.
