Due to the limited space, we may want to evaluate using the url tooltip (or a dedicated tooltip) when urlbar results are hovered/selected. There should be no risk of conflict with other tooltip consumers, the megabar takes user attention quite effectively, so the tooltip should not be too much disturbing.
Eventually we could figure a way to do it only when the urlbar is smaller than a given size.
Dao, you worked quite a bit on those tooltips in the past, do you think this may be a plausible investigation, or are you aware of good reasons for which we should not do this?
If we do this, we'll probably want a simple test.

On selection we already put the url in the input field, so we may also leave that case out.

We already provide tooltips when overflowing as of bug 1550423. Are you proposing some other behavior?

Ah, I totally forgot that, it looks like we're good, there is always a small part of the title or the url visible, so one can hover that to get the tooltip.
Thanks.
