Gecko/20011128 Netscape6/6.2.1 (had to use other browser since Mozilla died)
BuildID:    20020822

Browser won't open anymore. After splash screen I select profile then nothing.
Mozilla.exe shows in task manager but never opens. Reinstall makes it run
one-time only. Repeatable error.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Reinstall 1.1 alpha
2.select profile
3.

Actual Results:  Mozilla.exe shows in task manager but never opens. Reinstall
makes it run one-time only.

Expected Results:  Anything!

Have you installed Mozilla over an older build ?

If yes do this :
uninstall mozilla, delete all files in c:\programs\Mozilla.org\Mozilla\ (but
save your plugins) and reinstall mozilla.

If you still see the problem try "mozilla -profilemanager" and create an
additional test profile.

It is indeed a corrupt profile

You can try to repair your old profile.
close mozilla (including quicklaunch)
delete 
profile\localstore.rdf
profile\xul.mfl
all files in profile\chrome\*.*

-> wfm
