I have this bug too, using Win98SE. The Personal Toolbar shinkage occurred at the same time as my "Buddy List" blanked. I had previously being using both without problems, but the bugs just appeared when I opened the browser one morning. My Password Manager has also lost all passwords, but I'm not sure if this happened at the same time as the other two. (I think there's too many things going wrong simultaneously, so I'm going to try a re-install).

Further to my previous comment,re-install *didn't* fix it. I created a new profile, which created a "normal-sized" toolbar, and have deleted the default profile. The sidebar was loath to show in the new profile - I had to use the "tabs" selector before the actual default tabs would show. I have added some more tabs to the sidebar and they seem to show up normally now.

This bug is targeted at a Mac classic platform/OS, which is no longer supported by mozilla.org. Please re-target it to another platform/OS if this bug applies there as well or resolve this bug. I will resolve this bug as WONTFIX in four weeks if no action has been taken. To filter this and similar messages out, please filter for "mac_cla_reorg".

MASS-CHANGE: This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but has been without a comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project. This means that it was logged against the old Mozilla suite and we cannot determine that it's still valid for the current SeaMonkey suite. Because of this, we are setting it to an UNCONFIRMED state. If you can confirm that this report still applies to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it back to the NEW state along with a comment on how you reproduced it on what Build ID, or if it's an enhancement request, why it's still worth implementing and in what way. If you can confirm that the report doesn't apply to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it to the appropriate RESOLVED state (WORKSFORME, INVALID, WONTFIX, or similar). If no action happens within the next few months, we move this bug report to an EXPIRED state. Query tag for this change: mass-UNCONFIRM-20090614
