Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:69.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/69.0
Steps to reproduce:
- get a color managed windows x64, like Win7 x64 (probably not necessary, depending on FF CM methods)
- Install FF 69 for x64 or any ver. since 2019
- Configure FF according to https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Firefox/Releases/3.5/ICC_color_correction_in_Firefox
- Go to ICC "must pass" official browser test:
http://www.color.org/browsertest.xalter - Go to partial features test at
http://www.color.org/version4html.xalter
Actual results:
Mandatory test at step 4 is failed.
Test at step 5 shows that V4 ICC profiles are ignored, while ICC V2 profiles are honored.
Expected results:
both tests at steps 4 and 5 should be passed, indicating correct color management.
For reference, a mature browser, like Internet Explorer, should be taken, which passes all the rendering tests.
