Whenever I print a selected section from a web page with any background at all,
the printout comes out black-on-black. Unreadable, highly wasteful of expensive
ink. I have to fire up MSIE and get it to the same url to get a legible
printout. This is so annoying that I am tending to use MSIE if there even
*might* be anything that I may want to print out on a search/surf.

C'mon, this is basic "print the page" stuff. If you can't get that right....

I cannot reproduce this with linux trunk build 2002-07-22-08.  

David, do you have background printing on or off?

v1.1a on Win98

I'm mostly using MSIE these days, because of this.

MSIE handles the printing with no problem.

I'll have to test this on Win98, but I don't see the problem with Win2k

I see the bug on OS/2 build 2002072910.
URL is provided (probably, the bug is related to page background).

No longer a problem for me as of v1.4, but have changed printers fom Epson C60
to HP 3820. Don't know where the bug really was. May still exist, so be careful.
