As far as I understand she needs to be added first as a member to the mozilla.org organization and then the team members will add her to the team. Can you confirm if she has access to the organization?

She does not at the moment. For the initial add, we normally add people directly to the team they need to be added to (after sign-off from the team maintainer if they're not the one requesting it). This gives us traceability straight away, rather than relying on a subsequent add.
