It was added to dxr several years ago in bug 1125008 (though the link has changed to this). It would be nice if searchfox had it, too.

Now that we have cinnabar support we should be able to do this pretty easily, even though there's no existing git mirror for v-c-t.

I created the git and blame tarballs and uploaded them to S3. As an aside it would be nice to be more standardized with the folder and tarball names, so I started doing that with this repo. The tarballs are version-control-tools.tar and version-control-tools-blame.tar and they unpack to folders git and blame respectively. I'll update the newrepo.md documentation to make this more consistent going forward although I don't know if I'll ever go through the existing repos to fix things up. Maybe when I rebuild their blame repos.
