Now that the final version of 10.15 has shipped (10.15.0 19A583), I am noticing a few reports here and there that are missing symbols.

Bug 1558817#c14 reminded me that there is an automatic symbol uploader, but I wondered if there is something we have to do manually?

It looks like those crashes are missing Firefox symbols too? Maybe something wrong on the Socorro side?

Looking at the last week of crashes, I see around 2000 crashes for Firefox from Mac OS 10.15:

Ignoring the signatures that suggest we're missing symbols for 10.15, it looks like symbolication is working for the majority of the crash reports. Of the top ten signatures, none are showing missing Firefox symbols.

The three crashes in the description all have the same install time, so I suspect they're from the same user crashing three times. They have build id 20191009103354.

Looking at crash reports for build id 20191009103354, we see 66 in the last week:

Of those, 4 have unsymbolicated frames in the signature--3 of which are in the description of this bug. All four have identical install times, so I think they're all from the same user.

Seems like uploading Firefox symbols and Socorro processing worked for this build.

Will - thanks for checking into this. This is the first time recently I have seen this in looking at nightly Mac crashes, so I just was filing to make sure something wasn't amiss. I will close this one out as WFM.
