this bug exists in several latest bealding.
when you open Tools/Download Manager: To the right side of Download Manager
there is a column-picker - click it and you get a list of columns you can choose
to have displayed or not.

Are the columns you wish to display selected there? (Indicated with a little "v")
I receive a letter from bugzilla-deamon, I add this comment.
what I mean is: the new download status only a color bar with no download
status, but the older status of file which had already downloaded can be seen.
It's has nothing with the "column- pick" of download manager.
Hmm. Which theme are you using when this happens?
Can you attach a screenshot?
for you demand, I submit this screenshot of download manager.
I'm not entirely sure if my problem is related, but basically I have the same
problem - the download manager does not display any files when they are
downloading or when they have finished downloading!

I'm using Mozilla 1.1 final on Mac OS X 10.1.5. My Download prefs are: Open the
download manager. When I click on a file to download (ie from
versiontracker.com), Mozilla asks me where to save a .sit file. Then the FTP
connection is made and apparently the download starts, but I get no feedback
whatsoever.
I have trashed my prefs and the problem has vanished. Probably was related to
the Mozilla/Netscape profile-sharing problem you mention on your main page.

also, the linux version has the same problem!
I am having the same problem on MacOS X 10.1.5, Mozilla 1.2 (it was the same
thing in 1.2b). It does not matter how the downloadd is started; the download
manager opens, but displays nothing. As far as I can see, nothing is downloaded
either.

Ruud, you said you managed to get around the prroblem by 'trashing your prefs';
what does that mean, more precisely? Did you throw away your entire profile? (I
have not been using Netscape, but older versions of Mozilla.)

Is this still a probölem with 1.3b or later builds ?
