User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:70.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Downloaded the latest Firefox Nightly (as of filing this bug, at 71.0a1 (2019-10-12) );
- Open Firefox Nightly.
- Lookup "Lahat ng iyong crashes" (All your crashes) under "Mga Bookmark" (Bookmarks) > Firefox Nightly Resources.
Actual results:
The bookmark label indicates "Lahat ng iyong crashes".
Expected results:
This string (original: "All your crashes"), under resource "browser/profile/bookmarks.inc", is supposed to already show the latest corrected string.
The latest [approved] translation value is "Lahat ng mga crash". This has been the approved translation since 1/Oct 2019, and I had been monitoring it for the past several days, but the translation has not been making it to each of the nightly builds since then.

This shows what can be seen when following the step-by-step reproduction of the bug.

Bookmarks are created only once, when a new profile is created. I assume you're using an existing profile instead.
Please double check that everything looks good with a new profile, see also

Never mind, I read the Pontoon screenshot the other way around. Linking directly to Pontoon or Transvision would definitely help.
https://pontoon.mozilla.org/tl/firefox/browser/profile/bookmarks.inc/?search=crashes&string=159755
The file looks correct in the repository

Ahh alright! Forgot, I hadn't tried clearing my existing profile!! I'll do that. :D
And yeah, noted on the linking directly to Pontoon. Will also note this for succeeding bug reports! Thank you!

BTW, thanks a lot for testing your localization!
Pontoon stores its own translation in a database, then writes them in the Mercurial repository for the build system. One other tool that you can use is Transvision, which looks directly at the Mercurial repository
https://transvision.mozfr.org/?recherche=All+your+crashes&repo=gecko_strings&sourcelocale=en-US&locale=tl&search_type=strings_entities
If your translation is there, it should also be in the build. If it's not there, something broke in Pontoon.
If you've never used Transvision before, note the menu above, where you can find some QA views for localizers.

Noted on those tips @flod!!
Sir Bob has already introduced us to Transvision, to use as another tool to "polish" Firefox Tagalog. Really nifty tool to ensure consistency of translated strings!
I was worried there was an issue with this ticket, til you pointed out that the new string value for this bookmark won't take effect unless it's a newly-defined profile -- which makes sense because bookmarks are editable entities unlike say, buttons in the interface.
