Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:71.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/71.0

Steps to reproduce:

i want to set up another account at the same (private) domain

Actual results:

autosetup could not find the right settings even though another local account at this same server exists in the configuration

Expected results:

i expected autoconfig to be smart enough to not only search the mozilla database for settings but also already settings of already existing local accounts

Confirmed this behavior still exists, I was getting ready to report it and found bug.

I'm on Windows 10 x64, Thunderbird 68.2 x64, starting with fresh profile.

I have multiple Office 365 accounts with 2 of our custom domains.

I set up my first primary account.

Setting up the secondary accounts, TB still cannot find the right server settings, so I have to re-enter all of the same info 10 times (once for each account).

It should absolutely search its own server settings first and if it finds the same domain, it should use those settings. I'd go so far as to say, it should try server settings already defined first, even if the domain name is different.
