Reporter:
Have you installed Mozilla over an older build ?
If yes do this :
uninstall mozilla, delete all files in c:\programs\Mozilla.org\Mozilla\ (but
save your plugins) and reinstall mozilla.
If you still see the problem try "mozilla -profilemanager" and create an
additional test profile.
Alrighty then...
I checked out http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=158814 but no,
Mozilla (or Netscape) has never previously been installed.
I unistalled Moz and deleted all files. Reinstalled using same previous
options: complete, Quick Launch not enabled.
Install completed, browser auto-launched, received two Windows systems errors,
one after the other. One an invalid page fault in module Jsomething-or-rather
and the next an invalid page fault in module TRANSFORMIIX.DLL (I think). I'm
sketchy on these two as immediately after this (and while I was writing this
bug update the first time round) the screen went black bar for the cursor which
would go into timer state when moved. Rebooted. Got a corrupt registry -
scanreg ran but hung. Cold booted - system started as normal. Related? Don't
know. Reproducable - probably not (well, I hope not).
Started Moz again - same error. As advised, created a new profile - test. This
profile allows me to start the browser no problems - bug remains when using the
default profile.
Am tempted to delete the default profile and create another with the same name
to see if this fixes it, however, will wait for advice as to my next move...

Can you please do this :
Delete all Files in :
Profile\Chrome\
Delete :
Profile\localstore.rdf
Profile\XUL.mfl
(and be sure you close mozilla first)
corrupted profile -> wfm

Resolution: --- → WORKSFORME
I deleted all profiles using Profile manager as well as Profile\localstore.rdf
Profiles/Chrome didn't exist, nor did Profile\XUL.mfl. I agree with Worksforme
as a resolution... <shrug>
All working fine now.
Cheers all.
