From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020722 BuildID: 2002072204 (1.1b) If you go to www.cisco.com, it doesn't load all the graphics on the page, but the throbber is still going. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Goto www.cisco.com 2. Wait Actual Results: Seems to hang. Expected Results: Page to finish loading, or for the throbber to stop. I put the page thru the W3C validator, and the bugs are rather long. But I didn't see anything that would cause this sort of behaviour.

Well, now I'm not getting anything at all from the site using Mozzila 1.1b. On a different machine, running Trunk build 20020722, it works fine. Is anyone else with 1.1b haveing the same problem?

I upgraded from Mozilla 1.0 to Mozilla 1.1b, if that upgrade requires a clean profile, then there are some bigger problems out there. However, I'll see what a clean profile does.

A clean profile fixed the problem (he says in an embaressed voice). However, I'd like to keep this bug open in an attempt to find out what was wrong with my old profile.
David, take a look at Preferences->Advanced->HTTP Networking-> pipelining. There's no sense in having this bug as NEW until we have some information on its cause and how to reproduce it. ==> WFM, but feel free to reopen it as soon as you discover anything new, or VRFY it if you give up. Not crash or dataloss ==> major.

I had the same thought as you. I changed pipelining to false, and it works fine. Once I find the pipelining bug, I'll mark this as a dup of it.

Sorry for spam, but had to reopen this so as to mark it a dup of Bug #140561

Thanks David. Pipelining is still experimental, so some glitches are pretty much expected. Verified.
