Steps to reproduce:

I want to suggest a new feature for Thunderbird for Mac.

I use TB as a second mail app, besides Outlook. The only reason TB is not my first choice is how TB handles the attachments.

  1. It would be great if I could choose that attachments are being shown on top of the mail, not at the bottom.

  2. Even more important would be an option to show a preview of a PDF, JPG etc. by clicking space, like in all other Mac apps, to get a quick overview of the files. Now I always have to even open the file in the appropriate program or even save it, while I just want to know what's in, say, the PDF, before I choose what to do with it.

I hope this is the appropriate spot to suggest a new feature. I really want to use TB because of its features, but attachment management has kept me from doing it for years.

Regards, Florian
