[Affected versions]:

  • Firefox Nightly 71.0a1 - Build ID: 20191015213743

[Affected Platforms]:

  • All Windows
  • All Linux
  • All Mac

[Prerequisites]:

  • Have a new Firefox profile with the "trailhead.firstrun.branches" pref set to "full_page_d-supercharge" in the "about:config" page.

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Open the browser with the profile from prerequisites.
  2. Navigate to "about:welcome" page and resize the browser horizontally to ~40%.
  3. Observe the behavior.

[Expected result]:

  • The page is resized and all the elements are rearranged in order to fit the available width.

[Actual result]:

  • The strings placed in the left part of the page are partially visible.

[Additional Notes]:

  • This issue is reproducible on both "modal less" variants.
  • Attached a screen recording of the issue.

I have verified that this issue is no longer reproducible with the latest Firefox Nightly (72.0a1 Build ID - 20191021215155) installed, on Windows 10 x64, Arch Linux and Mac 10.14.5. Now, the strings from the left part of the new "about:welcome" modal less page variants are fully visible if the browser is horizontally resized below 40%.
