The documentation of NSS shared libraries are scattered
in the NSS 3.2 and NSS 3.4 release notes:

It's not easy to find.  We should consolidate the info in
a tech note and make it easy to find from the NSS main page.

I will leave this bug open. We are currently talking about improving the NSS documentation.
