Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020721 BuildID: 2002072104 When I double-click an Internet Shortcut or launch a URL from Windows, and a Mozilla browser window is currently open, Mozilla opens the address in the same window. This means that the page I was viewing simply disappears, which is *really* annoying. Furthermore, there doesn't appear to be any way to turn this off in Preferences, which seems to me would be a no-brainer. I then tried to disable the "DDE" option in Control Panel -> Folder Options -> File Types -> HTTP Protocol, but it didn't help. This problem is new to Mozilla 1.1beta; it did not occur in 1.1alpha or any earlier versions. In previous versions, each launched URL opened in its own window, which was much more convenient. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a browser window 2. Navigate to any page 3. Double-click an Internet Shortcut (or go to Start -> Run and type the URL) Actual Results: The new address is opened in the existing page. Expected Results: The new address should've opened in a new window.
